Re: COVID Update for the Week of December 16, 2022

To our Facility Community,

This week, we honored our Employees of the Year with an award luncheon. These are the best of the best employees! It is so nice to know that we have such great staff taking care of our residents. We are happy to work with dedicated staff and help them grow and succeed in their careers.

Due to the increase in respiratory illness this year, we encourage you to talk to your doctor about the flu vaccine and keeping up to date with COVID vaccinations. This will keep you and your loved ones safe during this time of the year. We, ask you to be mindful of Infection Control practices, including performing good hand hygiene while at the facility and limit visiting with others.  Again if you do have cold symptoms of any type, please stay home and feel better.

Our County’s community COVID transmission remains high so masking is still required. The  facility monitors community transmission rate on a weekly basis and will make revisions in accordance with facility policy. The facility will post signs at the entrance notifying you of the current “mask” requirement.

We continue to work very hard to protect our residents; staff take all necessary precautions to prevent COVID-19 and we encourage all community members to do the same.

Thank you,

Administrator
