Re: COVID Update for the Week of January 14,2022

To our Facility Community,

I hope this letter finds you healthy and well. I want to take this moment to please remind you that if you are not feeling well, please refrain from visiting your loved ones at the facilities. We want to ensure the safety of our staff and residents and to continue to ensure safe visitation.

I also wish to encourage you to speak with your doctor if you are interested in the vaccine and booster shots that are now widely available in our communities. The vaccine seems to be quite effective at preventing serious illness and has been essential in our fight against the disease in our Facility.

Though we do not wish to unnecessarily limit our residents’ access to their loved ones during this latest surge, we do still recommend you reach out to the facility for the latest updates on the Facility’s status and consider whether visitation is the best choice, not only for your loved one, but also for you and your own health situation.

We continue to work very hard to protect our residents; staff take all necessary precautions to prevent COVID-19. This means that all of our visitors will require screening, PPE, and additional precautions to keep everyone safe. We do encourage you to take precautions at home as well.

All staff who are not yet vaccinated are being tested twice a week; we will be complying with all Federal and State vaccination requirements. Staff are cooperating with our efforts and doing everything they can to keep you and your loved one as safe as possible.

We will keep you up-to-date with all developments. On behalf of our residents and staff, please stay safe.

Thank you,

            Ruth Huber
